The Down Syndrome Association of Roanoke, VA is made up of families, friends, professionals, and individuals with Down syndrome in Southwestern Virginia. Membership in our organization is free. We publish a newsletter three times a year, provide new parent packets for families, and host social and educational gatherings. We hope you will feel welcome in our group. Project Search 2009 Representatives of Roanoke Valley schools and agencies met on February 12 and 13 to start working on the possibility of starting a Project SEARCH High School Transition Program in the Roanoke Valley.
